5 way perception cube completed
These sloted in to the swastica shaped components of the cube. The tops of them are cut at angel to make sure that it fit through easier. |
Each piece had to be made with careful consideration of the colours along side them and on the other side.
The backs of the pieces that sloted in were bent and taped down.
Makets for the 5 way perception cube
Too unstable. |
Redisigned it proved to be sturdy |
Colouring with paint didnt really produce a good consistant strong colour. So i moved on to coloured paper at the suggestion of Maria.
Working with colour paper and cardboard produced a strong effect however the cardboard was tedious to cut and hard to wedge together without visually damaging the piece. It was in this process of making this maket that it came to me to cut incisions into the body of the cube to act as a holder for the grid to be added later.
Metatrons cube tape 2
A timelapse of me attempting to make a metatrons cube with tape.
The audio is just some random conversation we where having while i was making the piece.
Spiral stopmotion and timelapse
spiral stopmotion i decided to make with my sculpture. Interestingly enough i can see similarities between the rhythem in the sculpture and music. Its displays wave lengths.
This then was a timelapse of me making some of it.
Definetly have to make more sotpmotion patterns based off of this.
